Stone/Marble Sculptures

Halima enjoys working in stone and loves the challenge of creating fluidity in solid and dense material, playing with light through the form.

A valuable scholarship awarded by The Brian Mercer Trust through the Royal British Society of Sculpture in 2011 allowed Halima to atend Studio Sem in Italy, in order to develop her work in this medium which she had discovered only a few years earlier.
